Music in Our Schools Month is a time to celebrate and focus on the importance of music education in our schools and to remind members of the community that school is where all children should have access to music.

Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 2025 by donating new socks, any size any color. Socks will be collected on Monday, March 17 through Friday, March 21. On March 21, wear blue and yellow clothing and/or crazy socks to help raise Down syndrome awareness.

For the third year in a row, Pine-Richland student art is on display at Pine Community Center. Art displays have been updated for this quarter. All members of the community are encouraged to stop by to see what our K-8 students have been working on this school year!

We are excited to bring a new program to Wexford!  We will meet on six Mondays from March 10 through April 28 from 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm.

We observe and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day each year on the third Monday of January. While our children do not attend school on this day, we teach our children about the reason for dates on the calendar pointing to leaders who have contributed to our daily lives.

Pine-Richland High School Student Government Association led the district in its annual Stuff-a-Bus toy drive, collecting toys for 96.1 KISS FM's Stuff-a-Bus event and helping the radio station fill a record 82 buses with toys.

All six Pine-Richland schools have been recognized by the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support Network for achieving Tier I with Fidelity status for implementing and sustaining school-wide positive behavior interventions and supports through the RAMS Way program during the 2023-2024 school year.
