Register for the Chick-fil-A 1-Mile Race or 5K

Registration is now open for the Chick-fil-A 1-Mile Race and the 5K taking place on Saturday, May 2, as part of the 2026 DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend. Click here to register for either the 1-Mile Race or the 5K.

The 1-Mile Race registration fee is $30. One adult may run free with each registered child, or you may meet your child at the finish line where participants will be kept in a secure area until checked out by a parent or guardian.

Students who register by March 15 will receive a Pine-Richland athletic t-shirt to wear on race day at no additional cost. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after this date.

Students who registered by April 6 (1-mile race only) will have their race packets delivered to Wexford Elementary and sent home with your child. When registering, please make sure to select Wexford Elementary so the packet is routed to the school.

If you are participating in the 5K race, race packets must be picked up at the Pittsburgh Marathon Expo on Friday, May 1, or before the start of the race on May 2.

Alternatively, you may email Kelly Kennedy, kelly.knable@gmail.com, if you would like her to pick up your packet at the expo. Packets can then be picked up from her home on May 1.
