Calendar Highlights

  • May 4 - May 9: Teacher Appreciation Week
  • May 9: Kindergarten Mother's Day Program
  • May 15: Field Day (Rain date: May 22)
  • June 8 & 9: Kinder Camp
  • August 25: First Day of School
  • September 12: Movie Night

All-Year Fundraisers

  • Chick-Fil-A: Turn in receipts from Wexford and Cranberry locations; the school receives 20% of the total.
  • Planet Aid: Donate clothing or shoes to the donation box in the school parking lot.
  • Wish Lists: Support classrooms via Target and Amazon Wish Lists.

A Message From Our PTO

As the school year begins to wind down, we want to take a moment to share our heartfelt gratitude with each and every one of you! It has been an incredible year filled with so many memorable moments, and none of it would have been possible without the amazing support of our WES community. Your involvement, generosity, and school spirit truly make our school special. From Fall Movie Night and Open Houses to all the events and activities in between, you helped create a year full of fun, connection, and lasting memories. THANK YOU for being such an important part of WES! We wish you a wonderful rest of the school year and look forward to finishing it strong together!

Student Engagement

  • Funding assemblies and field trips
  • Coordinating after-school programs
  • Refreshing playground equipment
  • Coordinating book fair, holiday shop, school store, field day, and yearbook

Fundraising

  • Coordinating fundraisers such as spirit wear sales and dine-out nights
  • Hosting the Move-A-Thon for brand-new AV equipment for the gym

Staff Appreciation

  • Providing "welcome back breakfast" and staff meals
  • Organizing Teacher Appreciation Week treats
  • Providing snacks for the staff lounge
  • Offering classroom support for events and parties
  • Supplying new books and supplies for classrooms

School Events

  • Planning and hosting events like movie night and fall fest
  • Assisting with events such as RAM Reader for the Turkey Fund

Just a Few of This Year's Events

Movie Night: Lilo and Stitch

WES families enjoyed watching the live-action Lilo & Stitch. Thanks to volunteers and the community, over $1,000 was raised.

Fall Fest Fun

In its second year, this event featured games and a bounce house, raising $1,800.

Y2K Trivia Night

Parents enjoyed a 2000s-themed night at Cenci's Pizzeria. Through prize basket donations and a great turnout, the event raised over $1,100.

Open House Highlights

Held on March 3 and 5, families explored classrooms and the book fair. Raffle baskets helped raise over $2,400.

Move-A-Thon

A glow-themed celebration for students' fundraising achievements, which raised an outstanding $13,439.
