The entire community is invited to join student leaders in grades 2-12 and Pine Township at its Earth Day Event on Saturday, April 26, from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Mr. Chris Vins, third-grade teacher at Wexford, was selected to join the Penguins Science Champions Team and participate in a day-long event dedicated to brainstorming fun and engaging science lessons for second- and third-grade students.

On Tuesday, April 1, we will be hosting Mr. John Schu, a beloved author who is passionate about fostering a love for reading and writing. Mr. Schu will travel to kindergarten classrooms to meet with students and help connect them with an author who truly understands the magic of books.
The Wexford PTO is seeking volunteers to help with 2025-2026 events and programs.
The third-grade party is on Wednesday, June 4, from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm. The PTO will provide all third-grade students with a t-shirt. All orders are due by April 10.

The National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is recognized on the fourth Thursday in April each year. Parents of students in our schools are encouraged, if participating, to use April 24 or choose a date in the summer months.
PSSA testing for 3rd-grade students will take place from April 22 to April 29. Families are encouraged to ensure students arrive on time, get a good night’s sleep, and bring wired headphones and a fully charged Chromebook.
For the third year in a row, Pine-Richland student art is on display at Pine Community Center. Art displays have been updated for this quarter. All members of the community are encouraged to stop by to see what our K-8 students have been working on this school year!
We are excited to bring a new program to Wexford! We will meet on six Mondays from March 10 through April 28 from 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm.
We observe and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day each year on the third Monday of January. While our children do not attend school on this day, we teach our children about the reason for dates on the calendar pointing to leaders who have contributed to our daily lives.
