Welcome to Kindergarten! It is an exciting year with students learning to read, write, and often their first formal math lessons. In kindergarten, we focus on developmental skills such as following multi-step directions, holding a pencil properly, writing upper and lowercase letters with proper line formation, as well as learning sight words, writing sentences with simple writing conventions, and creating a positive learning environment. Every day we take risks and learn from our mistakes.
