Principal's Message—March 28, 2025

Dear Wexford Families,

On Tuesday, April 1, we will be hosting Mr. John Schu, a beloved author who is passionate about fostering a love for reading and writing.

Mr. Schu will travel to kindergarten classrooms to meet with students and help connect them with an author who truly understands the magic of books. In the morning’s assembly with the first- and second-grade classes, Mr. Schu will engage with our students to ignite their enthusiasm for storytelling and creativity.  During the afternoon assembly, third graders will experience the joy of reading and writing through stories while Mr. Schu shares the books of his heart written by various authors and illustrators.

If your child owns a copy of John Schu’s books, he/she is invited to bring it to school to have it signed by Mr. Schu on April 1st.

We can’t wait for our students to meet Mr. Schu and experience the joy of reading and writing firsthand! Thank you for supporting this wonderful opportunity for our students. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
