Chris Vins Penguins 2025
Mr. Chris Vins, third-grade teacher at Wexford, was selected to join the Penguins Science Champions Team and participate in a day-long event dedicated to brainstorming fun and engaging science lessons.

Wexford Elementary students are huge fans of the Pizza and Taco series by Stephen Shaskan, so everyone was excited last week when Mr. Shaskan paid a visit to Wexford! He taught the students how to draw Pizza and Taco, previewed his next book, led everyone in a singalong, and answered questions.

In honor of World Kindness Day on November 13, students in Mrs. Riederer’s third-grade class wrote notes of kindness to school helpers. Ava, Nova and Austin wrote to Mrs. Cerny, school nurse, and included memories such as, “I still remember when you helped me when I broke my wrist.”

The Wexford PTO is celebrating the 14th year of our summer reading program. The students will be bringing home an activity board they can use to find ways to encourage summer reading.
