Students celebrated World Read Aloud Day on February 5, participating in a number of literacy-themed activities, including sharing favorite stories with one another.

In honor of World Kindness Day on November 13, students in Mrs. Riederer’s third-grade class wrote notes of kindness to school helpers. Ava, Nova and Austin wrote to Mrs. Cerny, school nurse, and included memories such as, “I still remember when you helped me when I broke my wrist.”

Senior Liam Francis made improvements to the Wexford Elementary nature trail for his Eagle Scout project. In June, he made the inaugural walk with his former second-grade teacher, Mrs. Joanna Firmin, and her current class. Thank you, Liam!
